Re: Limit size Variables
Hi, sorry about the late reply...I've been on quite long vacation. I don't think there is a problem with the variable size per se but maybe the payload in total. This particular issue was fixed in the lates release 1.4.0.7. So unless you're already updated, can you please do that and report back? -s...

Re: Filenames produced by the "Stills" Encoder
Hi amdx,
You have some excellent improvement points there for the stills encoder! Just use your workaround if you're happy with it, until these features are natively supported. I cannot promise it for 1.4.1 but they will definately be on the feature wish list.

Re: set order in which folders are processed
Making sure you have enough HD space is a must for any system. FFAStrans use the file system as is and depend on that it's working as expected and have enough free space. Now that you managed to get into the case of full HD, there will be a bit of cleaning up in the FFAStrans database, which with th...

Re: set order in which folders are processed
Yes, looking at this again now and it's true that this is actually how it works today. So the "old" behavior is basically the same with the difference being that higher priority jobs will start even if you have used all your job slots. Then the jobs slots will be filled with the higher pri...

Re: Watchfolder not working
Ok, so I see you're running as service now. Does the service account have access the files on the share? Normally, if you just use the default local service user, it don't have access to UNC paths or the mapped S:. Please stop the service and enable as application again with your own user to see if ...

Re: Watchfolder not working
Maybe you can just zip the whole \Processors\db folder and post it, so that we can take a look at the complete set of config and logs? I guess it's not very big.

Re: Watchfolder not working
Hi seePyou, My eyes might fool me but it looks like a semi colon instead of a colon: S;\ as opposed to S:\ . Can you please confirm? Other wise it looks like a clean installation without and previous settings standing in your way. In that case the monitor should pick up the files. But your workflow ...

Re: set order in which folders are processed
Guys, FFAStrans auto pausing (in the middle of processing) is turned off by defalut so for "regular" users it's not enabled. Lugi, we never like stuck jobs but unfortunately we see it from time to time. And depending on your workflow, it's not trivial to pinpoint the cause. So the best you...
