Avisynth - DeJitter plugin
I'm trying to create a workflow that DeJitters (using AviSynth Dejitter plugin: http://www.avisynth.nl/users/vcmohan/DeJitter/DeJitter.htm) drone footage. I've tried several things but can't get it to work. What I have setup is: - A/V Media node - Custom AviSynth Node: # Load the DeJitter plugin Loa...

Error: "Send e-mail@MW-SPC2: The requested body part was not found in this message."
I'm trying to get the 'send e-mail' node working, but I keep on getting this error: "Send e-mail@MW-SPC2: The requested body part was not found in this message." I've tried using different email addresses, changing the body text from nothing to just the word 'test' etc. Can anyone advise o...

Re: XDCAM Encode / Blockiness
Hi,
I tried qmin5 qmax23 and compared in Premiere switching videotracks. And you can clearly see that FFMPEG exposes more blocks in the dress. But the complete picture gets less detail al together!

Re: XDCAM Encode / Blockiness
Hi, We tried some different qmin / qmax settings but we cannot get near the quality of premiere with this example footage. I also checked with other videofiles and there is actualy no noticable quality difference so I also suspect it has to do with the source material that does not work quite good w...

Re: XDCAM Encode / Blockiness
So for example qmin 3 qmax 20. I read that lowering qmax below 16 wil not improve anything visible. This will not have any influence on the bitrate?

Re: XDCAM Encode / Blockiness
Hi!
Great. It looks better, but still premiere pro has a better quality. Can I play with qmin and qmax for a little experimenting? Because I think we can assign more bittrate to the B and P frames. I will then compare in resolve with a differencekey.
Greetings,
David

XDCAM Encode / Blockiness

Our worklfow is: Colorgrade in Davinci Resolve (Source is an Avid Videomixdown in OP1A XAVC-Intra 100) Export to QT DNxHD185X to a watchfolder FFAStrans encodes this file to XDCAM. We use this workflow becau...

Modify Source field in status monitor
Hi, Could I modify the way the source field is created in the status monitor after a job has finished? I have a unified workflow scanning multiple client folders, but when the workflow is finished it only shows me the filename and I would like to add some extra info so we know where this file came f...

Folder Monitor | Also accept certain folder(s)
