Re: Farm and global cache problems

Hello Ghtais,
I don't think a Windows server will be faster than a "simple" windows. It can be interesting to have a server for the network features but about speed, it will be the same thing.
It can be better to have a Win Server to provide a good share for FFAStrans Installation.

Re: Farm and global cache problems

Hi andrezagato, In my side, I saw on your workflow that you don't have any other branch about your conditional node. You check the v codec is pro res but if it is not? You should add another node to begin another branch and specify what FFAStrans has to do in case of other video codec. (right click ...

Re: Verify first characthers folder name

Hello andrezagato, ok easy, we will find a solution. The problem is that you have several folder name that beginning by DXX_....So not easy to keep the good one. But, maybe we can assume that your good folder always begins like that : "D_XX_" AND this good folder is always between "\" so you can try...

Re: Verify first characthers folder name

Yo Andrezagato, Ok so I begin to see what you want, thanks for all these informations. I think there is something simpler than your workflow. Using $left or $right function is not very reliable when there are variables strings and it seems it will be your case. So if you are sure that your "good fol...

Re: Verify first characthers folder name

Hello Andrezagato, If you know that your folder name always begins by "DXX_", it is really easy to extract only the number between "D" and "_". You just have to populate the "%s_original_path%" and use Regex function : s_right_folder_name" --> $regext("%s_original_path%","D(\d\d)_") You will get the...

Re: Transcoding to HLS using h264_nvenc does not work

Hello Dlebrero,
Yep you're right that's why we tried to create a wiki with main processes and with examples to help people to understand how FFAStrans works. I hope it helps many users.

Re: Downloaded today -> only corrupt files

Hello morbificagent,

It seems you want to change the framerate of a file? So you NEED to add a filter node :
Monitor->AV media->fps converter(from filter)->H264->delivery
Try like this and it should be ok ;)

Re: Modify Source field in status monitor

Hello dklooker, yes, the %s_success% can be used to add informations about your file. Instead of "success" you can add any variable from your workflow or any other string. BTW, you can do the same thing with the %s_error% if you want but be careful, in that case you won't have any information about ...
