Thank you for your detailed answer. I was able to create a VM on a QNAP with FFASTrans to process simple tasks for editors at there home without our intervention.

It's pretty useful to standardize the format of our "archives" we add in Avid MC. Conform, deinterlace, upscale...

I know it's been a while but, did you have any luck with Docker @kibi ? I'm exploring the possibility to run the transcoding part on a rented VM.

Just to mention there is not the option in the XDCAM HD encoder node for 1920x1080 23.98p.
The previous version had it. Let me know if it was depreciated.

Thank you for your response Steinar. Sorry if this post was misplaced in the forum. I wasn't sure if this was a normal behavior since I was able to deinterlace the SD sources using Davinci Resolve. I had also success with HD sources with FFASTrans in the past. Thank you again for all you accomplish....
