Re: Rest-API update failed

Hi emcodem, I haven't had any problems with blue screens since Windows 7 SP1 in combination with a version 4.x of the harmonic file system driver. My old servers for transcoding were running version 3.3.0.0.20140616 of the (then) omneon filesystem driver and even there I had no problems with blue sc...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Hi Steinar, Sorry again for my late reply. It is weird that AUDIOCONVERT did not picked up any files becaue there is one workflow which runs all the time and only these client is allowed to farm the input files. Anyway, your suspicions regarding the storage I'm running FFAStrans from seems spot on. ...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Dear Steinar, it took a while but now I have the log files from the def_log folder. def_log.zip For your explanation: The Clients FFAStrans1 and 2 are my new servers which has the problem of finding files in folders delayed. The AUDIOCONVERT Client is the last one of my old FFAStrans farm which runs...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Dear Steinar, now I have to excuse myself for the long delay. I was on vacation until now. Anyway, I have replaced the def_runner.a3x for about 3 hours ago. In the meantime FFAStrans had processed some files (with the mentioned delay) but the def_log folder remains empty. So there is nothing I can s...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Unfortunately I got no answer so far. Is there a way to get a logging of what the "folder node" is doing? It would be helpful to see, if the folder node is even able to access the monitored path all the time or if the access is denied or ends in an time out. I can not explain, why the work...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Hi steinar, yes, the pickup files are stored in a network folder. I use UNC paths all over the farm. The User has also access to the network directory. In my opinion, everything is setup correctly. And my last comment was wrong. The workflows are working but extremely delayed. The files in the watch...

Re: Rest-API update failed

Hi steinar, thanks for you help. The mentioned path did not exist. This is probably the reason why the installation/update of the service failed. It seems that the zip file was incomplete due to some download interruptions or so. Anyway, after a complete install of FFAStrans, the service runs withou...

Rest-API update failed

Dear FFAStrans comunity, I have a issue with the REST-API Service. I come from FFAStrans version 1.2.0 and want to update to the latest (1.3.0.2). Unfortunately I'am unable to bring the service to run. The installed service from version 1.2.0 is working fine. Starting the latest FFAStrans brings up ...

Re: Automatical job retry after job fails

Many thanks for this great solutions and for your quick response. I have combined both of your solutions like emcodem mentioned in his last post. Since all of my workflows are working with watch folders there should be no trouble. If it is useful for you, here is the full log for the failed job. ful...
