URL monitor
Hello friends, I would like to know if anyone can help. I need ffastrans to monitor folders in a URL to just transfer the files. How do I do that? Thanks
Re: URL monitor
Hi luzimar,
i am afraid there is nothing built-in to watch http "folders". It is basically not a good practice to exchange files over http, one should use ftp for it.
If you have control over the http server, you can enable "webdav" on the http server and use network drive mapping to work with a normal drive letter on the ffastrans server. But in that case, you could for example also just set up ftp which makes your life easier.
If you have no control over the http server, you need to find some synchronizing tool like wget and periodically synchronize the whole content from http to local.
