Mcafee endpoint security detecting exe_manager.exe as a malware again.
Could someone with a knowledge submit exe_manager to Mcafee so they can analyze and whitelist it?

Hi Koati,

2 weeks ago I've sent mcafee exe-files both of 0.8.0 and 0.8.3.
They are since then on their whitelist.
A couple of minutes ago I've checked current ffastrans-installation on our server and there is no problem at the moment.
Which version of ffastrans are you using?

Oops, I think it was my own mistake. I was using 0.8.0 and now updated ffastrans to 0.8.3 and also updated Mcafee signatures and now it' s working nicely.

On a related note, I also had Symantec Endpoint Protection blocking me from using FFAStrans so I submitted it to them as a possible false positive and they've now whitelisted 0.8.2 which I can confirm.

Having a similar problem with Malwarebytes. It has deleted the FFastrans.exe file twice now. I downloaded a fresh version from the this site and checked it with Karspersky. Nothing wrong obviously. But last night it was deleted again! Just last week I reinstalled my W7 system, so it is free of bugs and other unwelcome stuff. So why is Malwarebytes concluding that ffastrans.exe is ransomware!??

I have put it in the Exclusions of Malwarebytes, so hopefully it will survive an other scan.
