I have not tested if this keeps on happening. I will drop a new .mp4 file in the watchfolder and see what happens.
Where can I send you the .ts file ?

I have tried with three more .mp4 files and the problem of multiple transcodes has not re-occured.
I have sent you the .ts file that is not recognized as a video file as requested.
Thank you

Hi seePyou, thank you for submitting the file!
I have found the cause of the error and it's been fixed for the next release.

Thank you for the great news! Will be looking forward to the release.
As a followup, is it recommended (and possible) to have an operator to delete the original file after a transcode, or move it to a designated folder on workflow failure?

Yes, take a look at the "Command executor"-node and the help section. It will help you accomplish exactly what you want and much more. Imagination is your limit

I'm back again!
After a short break (or long one OK stop being so loud!) I have seen that the .ts defect has been corrected and installed 0.8.0
I'm currently testing this and so far EXCELLENT! Now I'm trying to mess with the "Command executor" but it seems to be working just fine!
Will feedback all experience when I finish!
I LOVE that it can take .ts files now!!! YES!!!

So here is the result!
Video conversion top marks! Great performance and works wonderfully!!
Follow up actions though not so much, but I know I'm doing something wrong:
Workflow:
Detect the .ts folders, feed them to a transcoder, and then move the result to another folder.
All work well!
Command executor though not really...
It doesn't delete the file. I also have no clue where to look for logs if any exist.
Path of the original file: \\server\folder\otherfolder\Watchfolder_Record\video.ts
Path of the transcoded file: \\server\folder\otherfolder\Transcoded_MXF\video.ts

ok... hold on a bit.. because on further test files, the Delete command started working... I will try again with a proper big file!

Now it deleted the big file as well!
So all good then!!! Now to finish setting up some failure folder moves...
