Need help for creating ProRes Proxys with source audio

Hello fellow FFAStrans users.

Love the site and the concept, and thank you for the 1.0 update!

I am trying to setup an ingest workflow for creating ProRes Proxies with audio tracks following the sources amount of tracks.

My current workflow is setup with a Watch folder, then it checks if its 1920x1080 and progressive scan. It then goes on to check the extension, and then splits into a node that copies the original file to a folder and another node that creates my proxy.

I have attached a screenshot for my ProRes encoder settings.

I have also attached my workflow.

After that it delivers the file to an Output Proxy folder.

It all works great, except my audio is all set to the same channel, so when I import it into Adobe Premiere i only get 1 single audio channel no matter what i do.

Best regards Alexander

Hello Klipalex,
Welcome and thanks to use FFAStrans.

I just tried with a MXF-XDCAM HD file(8 mono audio tracks) and a MP4-H264(1 stereo tracks) file and both are ok in Adobe Premiere (2020)( each file are Prores Proxy with separate mono audio tracks).
Could you tell us what kind of file you input usually please?
Do you use the last FFAStrans version ? (1.0.0.2)

Thanks .

Benjamin

Just to update. I didn't work for me and i'm not sure why.

I reinstalled FFastrans from scratch and rebuild the workflow from scratch and made it work :)
