Hi,
I have a problem with the new version of FFAStrans with the new Youtube decoder (yt-dlp). When I try to download something I get this message:
init_sys_streams: can't initialize sys standard streams

Hi migi1986,

One quick google seem to suggest it's related to character encoding. Can you check if you have the "UTF-8" support in Windows enabled?

I using windows server 2008 and this option is unavailable.

Hi,

You probably know that 2008 is no longer supported by MS and so you might have a hard time fixing is as long as you're on an outdated OS. You should try on a newer OS and see if it works. If it doesn't, the problem is within yt-dlp and should be reported there as this is not an error coming from FFAStrans per se. Do you have the option to share the link you tried to download?

Generally doesn't works any link from YouTube. Ok probably i must change operating system for a newer. Thanks for the help.
