P2 processor not working?

Ok so if I set the P2 processor so it's pointed to the root folder of the P2 directory, and I set my destination folder, I connect the two processes and start the workflow but nothing happens. I can manually submit the video clips but that simply passes them through without muxing. What am I missing here? I'm on version 0.6.0b2. Thanks!

Are you sure your "CONTENTS"-folder are intact and all the files from the card are present? FFAStrans does not look for .mxf, it look for the .xml files generated by the camcorder.

Yes, I understand about the directory structure. I also tried running the process directly from my P2 drive and it doesn't work. The status monitor shows a file being processed for about 2 seconds, and I can see the progress bar reach 100% but then it doesn't output anything.

Does your workflow work with the P2 folders you downloaded from opencubetech?

Ok - yes the test clips work. I just find it strange that reading directly from a P2 card doesn't. Those files are just as the camera left them. But I appreciate your help!!

I really do not understand why it does not work. I don't suppose you could send me some small (if you have) samples of your media? In that case I need this:

CONTENTS\
...AUDIO\
......<clipname>00.MXF
......<clipname>01.MXF
......<clipname>02.MXF
......<clipname>03.MXF
...CLIP\
......<clipname>.XML
...VIDEO\
......<clipname>.MXF

Just one small sample in an zip/7z archive, small enough to mail to post@ffastrans.com. Is that feasible? It would really help to sort out any deviations that might be present.

Hi jukeboxjim,

I just found a bug that obviously kicks in on your media and I'm now investigating the issue.
