Is there any possibility to send a command to FFASTrans to exit the program and stop all the processes?

In farm mode it takes a lot time to make the round of every server.

If the CLI command exists, it's easy to write a batch script that looks for some trigger (file) at shared directory and properly stops the local instance of FFastrans. Killing process is not a very good way

It's one of the functions of Farm Manager.

How many hosts do you really have in your farm?

If you stop all running workflows in one GUI, all hosts should stop when they are finished with their current node. After that, it's all safe to kill FFAStrans.exe. The system is designed to handle that kind of scenario.

Anyway, FFAStrans does not (yet) have any command line swithes. But I'll take a note at your suggestion

Now I have five hosts in two different farms. The first farm contains network greedy workflows (video indexing). While the second farm runs workflows with heavy processor's demands (coding).

My first attempt when all workflows were at the same farm lead to either overloaded network or underruning processor.
