Hello all,
I recently discover FFAStrans and I need some help if possible. Well, I want to rewrap a mxf video file (xdcam hd422 with 8 audio tracks) to mxf xdcam hd422 with 4 audio tracks.
So, I want to use bmx library to do that.
No problem un FFAStrans to do the workflow but it's to use the command line that is really difficult for me...
If someone can be help me it will very kind

Hi momocampo, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum!
This is not a support site for the great bmx library but If you want help, you need to at least provide us with what you have tried so far. To get the "user manual" for the bmx-tools you usually just run the exe-files without arguments.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the answer and sorry for the late response from me.
Anyway, I think I will change my workflow and I have 2 questions if you can help me. I will use the XDCAM-HD encoder between 2 folders but the question is : If a MXF XDCAM-HD file is in the source folder, does ffastrans re encode the media file or only re wrap it?
Is possible to erase original files after process?
Thank you

FFAStrans does not currently rewrap but I will take a look at options for doing that.

Hello,
Thanks a lot for your "look". I think we must "call" another program to only rewrap.
I must find how erase originals files too

Sorry, forgot about your second question... Take a look at the help section in the "Command executor"-node for deleting originals. Remember, deleting originals is NOT a feature of FFAStrans but because FFAStrans can start dos commands and hand over file name variables, you can do almost anything from within FFAStrans.
