Rest_service.exe Windows Defender sees virus

I am having trouble. just recently Windows defender starting seeing this file as a virus:
Processors\rest_service.exe

One time I inadvertently allowed it to remove the threat - and now FFA Strans does not seem to operate properly. Nothing happens when I try to submit a file or place one in a monitored folder.

ver 0.8.2 (Windows now automatically removes the threat from 0.8.2.2 patch also).
Win 10 Pro | 64 bit
Version: 1709
OS Build: 16299.192

A. Can you confirm this is a FALSE positive?
B. Perhaps you should try to get the file 'blessed'.
C. Can you confirm that nothing else is wrong (i.e. removing that EXE would break the software in the way I am seeing).
D. Any ideas on how to restore the file as windows defender no long gives options?

Thanks,
kt

Hi keitht,

A: Yes!
B: Yes, but it's not straight foreward.
C: Nothing will break unless you use the API or the web-monitor. Normally you don't. If you do, you will know it.
D: You need to consult help for Windows defender to solve this. No antivirus should take full control of your files.
