Exclude File Types in Watchfolder / What Seperator?

Hi everybody,

I have a fully working workflow with 3 watchfolders, automatic transcode and e-mail-notification. There is just one little thing:

- I want to exclude some file types from the e-mail-notifications
- If I only insert one type in the field "Deny Types" like "*.txt" everything works fine

I need to know what seperator to use if i want to exclude more than one type. So far I have tried:

Comma: *.txt, *.sfk -> Doesn't work
Semicolon: *.txt; *.sfk -> Doesn't work either

When I add a second file type, even the first one isn't filtered anymore... I guess it has to do with the usage of space between the characters and / oder the seperators.

Can anyone of you help? Or is it a bug?

Best regards from Hamburg,

Alex

Hello,
you have to use | like separator (right alt + 6 on azerty keyboard). Sorry don't know on qwerty...
Cheers.

Thank you, Benjamin!

That worked :-)

On German QWERTZ keyboards it is "Alt Gr + <" for "|"

Best regards, Alex

Hi Alex, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

I know the documentation for FFAStrans is not the best in the world but this is actually stated in the docs. So next time you might want to check the questionmark (?) in the lower left corner of the nodes ;-)

Happy you worked it out and thank you Benjamin for being a good sport by helping answering questions! :-)
