Hi Steinar,
as I tried the latest version, now it seems everything going well (saving workflow, working watch folders etc.), except one thing:
When I make a very single chain of process, e.g:
Watch folder> A/V decoder > H.264 encoder > Delivery folder,
the Process monitor says:
"No video or audio found in media"
I just tried everything in settings, but no success.
My videos are simple PAL DV AVIs with Microsoft DV codec.
Can you suggest me any solution? The above is a very simple task, without using any complex, custom ffmpeg setting.
I have to install anything besides the FFAstrans, e.g. a codec pack or any third party plugin? I am already installed the Visual 2015 packet.
Thank you and kind regards,
DeV32
"No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
As I read in the other topic, I just installed booth Visual 2015 (32 and 64 bit ones). But the problem remained.
Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
Unfortunately still no solution....
Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
Hi DeV32, can you please skip the decoder and go straight from the monitor to the encoder and see if that does any difference?

Hi.
I have the same problem. If I remove the decoder, it's fine. But I also need to do some processing and need the decoder.

Hi
When I changed from 64 bit to 32 bit Visual C ++ 2015, the decoder works fine.

Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
Hi RoyN and Steinar:
I just uninstalled all the Visual C++ 2015 ones (booth 32 & 64 bit) on my Win 7 x64 system. Then reinstalled just the 32 bit Visual C++ 2015.
It works!
No more "No video or audio found in media" message, the conversion ending with "Success".
Thank you, have a good day,
DeV32

Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
Hi RoyN and DeV32,
I have fixed this issue in the next version which no longer requires VC++Redist to be installed. Thanks for your bug reports!

Re: "No video or audio found in media" error using H.264 encoder
It will be great! Except periodically problem with vc++, last version of FFAStrans is very stable in our workflows with hundreds different huge files everyday. Thank you!
