Not all files transcoded

Hi,

I created a simple ffastrans workflow : Watchfolder -> ffmpeg (Wav to mp3) -> target folder.
I put about 500 files in the watch folder (files are copied to this folder while the workflow is running)
At the end, about 480 files are in the target folder. Some files are not transcoded. If i search for them in logs files, i only see "success"

I've done one test withou ffmpeg settings (so it create a .avi) and all files were transcoded.

It's a bit hard to tell what might be the problem. FFAStrans has obviously picked up the all the files and processed them. If you do it again, are the exact same files missing from the target folder?

Hi, same problem here.

My workflow: watchfolder > ffmpeg (mp2 to mp3) > deliver folder. The files in the watchfolder are generated every 15 minutes. I've checked "Localize Files" and "Check Growing Files".

I just discover this option in the workflow properties.



Maybe can help to discover the issue?

This option will not help in this situation. Can you please post your workflow? Also, are there new files every 15 minutes or are the existing files just beeing updated?

Hi, and sorry for the delay . This is my workflow... It' s very simple



The files are all new because it's a radio broadcast record.

Maybe you could export your workflow and post it? A picture of the workflow is not very useful I'm afraid. Also, what version of FFAStrans are you using?

Hi again, here is the file.

The version is 0.9.3x but I just updated to 0.9.4 but don't work properly even with older files. I mean, files not created when the workflow is running.

It's even stranger because files processed successfully, don't appear in the destination folder.

Thanks for the workflow! You are running FFAStrans from a shared folder with proper write access for all the users running FFAStrans on the hosts? Are you using shared media cache?
