Queue Monitor
Queue Monitor
Hi Steipal,
I hope I'll be lucky this time. Queue monitor will be very handy feature, so we'll know how many transcoding job left. It'll be better if there're also "priority" manager so certain clip can be done before another.
Best regards,
Eddy

Re: Queue Monitor
Hi eddy,
I'm very aware of this shortcoming but I have not yet found the time to dig properly into it. I've been busy with the 0.6.0 for quite some time now. The "problem" is that I have to make a lot of core changes to make this work. It's not like it's a matter of exposing a queue that already exist, because it don't. But I assure you, it's on my list

Re: Queue Monitor
Hi Steinar,
Is there a way to list all queued jobs within the status-monitor?
As far as i can see the only way to know about the queued jobs is to look into this path: processors- db - cache - tickets - queue

Re: Queue Monitor
Hey Taner,
i will soon push an update for the webinterface, at least there you see the queued jobs then. I guess we will not alter the inbuilt monitor to display the queued jobs but instead at some point we might replace the inbuilt monitor by the one from the webint... thats the plan at least.

Re: Queue Monitor
@taner,
New release of webint 1.0.4 should do what you wish!

Re: Queue Monitor
Mega!
Thanks!
I'll try it
EDIT: works like a charm.
But one question: when I submit a lot of files at once the jobs with active status are shown at the bottom of the list. Is there a way to sort by "Status" in order to have the active jobs shown at the top of the list?
Thanks for your efforts! This new feature is very handy and helps a lot!

Re: Queue Monitor
Observation: when I click on by example "SUBMIT JOBS" and click back to "JOB STATUS" then the active jobs are shown at the top of the list.
When I do it again the active jobs are shown again at the bottom.
Clicking back and forth any other area (scheduler, admin users etc.) results into the same effect.

Re: Queue Monitor
sorry, i should have post that stuff in the webinterface-thread
Re: Queue Monitor
Hey taner, good thinking but no need to separate webint questions any more, you can freely Post them in any forum category here.
Currently i dont take care about sorting, i'll check if i can implement it quickly...
