Downloaded today -> only corrupt files

Post by morbificagent »

Hi together,

downloaded FFAStrans today and am trying to get it run but without luck.

Have built a minimal workflow (see screenshot) for testing but the resulting files are corrupt and cant be played or used in any program after FFAStrans.

The files are ok if i remove the "A/V Media" but for using any filter it looks like i need it...

Do i miss something?

Hi morbificagent, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

Could you export the job log? Right click the job in inbuilt status monitor and select "Open log folder...". Zip the contents and send.
Thanks!

Hello morbificagent,

It seems you want to change the framerate of a file? So you NEED to add a filter node :
Monitor->AV media->fps converter(from filter)->H264->delivery
Try like this and it should be ok ;)

Aye @WilkinsOlivia

tried to reproduce, but were not able to. We only have minimal info here, the picture above seems to indicate that the source file is 60fps and the output is 24fps h264 node with standard settings (except the output framerate) - this is the only (half baked) information we currently have.
So my test workflow looks exactly like this
A/V Media-> H264 (24 fps)-> Deliver

I don't have problems when submitting a 59.97 fps source.
It would be good to have workflow/logs/source files...
emcodem, wrapping since 2009 you got the rhyme?
