Hi,
I feel like this should be working, but it's not, and I'm not sure what step to take next.
I have a simple workflow that connects by FTP to a HyperDeck Studio that's recording DNxHD 185X MXF OP1a files, and I want to take those and drop them into an Avid MediaFiles folder. I've tried many options in the DNxHD Encoder - Full Encode / Transwarp, with Avid Project data and without etc - but it's always creating an OP1a output, not separating it into OP-Atom files, and as a result Avid is unwilling to scan the media.
Have I missed something, or is this not an option? I've searched here but haven't found anything that seems entirely applicable.
DNxHD OP1a to OP-Atom
Re: DNxHF OP1a to OP-Atom
hmm i just tried, insert dnxhd encoder, check "create avid project structure" and connect to some deliver processor. It delivered 5 op-atom files.
Then i check set the dnxhd processor to "transwrap" and submitted the previously delivered _v0.mxf file, as a result i got 5 new op-atom files.
I guess it would be good to have some more infos from you, like ffastrans version, workflow export json, logs...
Thanks!

Hello Dylanreeve,
Yes, as Emcodem said, please give us your FFAStrans version and I'm gonna try for you.
Edit : it works for DNxHD 185X with 1.2.2 FFAStrans version.

Re: DNxHF OP1a to OP-Atom
Hi guys, thanks for the replies.
The version I have installed currently is 1.2.1 but I will upgrade later today.
I've attached the JSON of the workflow I'm using (in this case I'm trying to pull from 4 decks, but it makes not difference if it's 1 or 4 in my testing).
There's a sample piece of media here: https://we.tl/t-lI6HVaf1GE
(It's only black video, but is a real signal that was recorded on the decks I'm using). It should be DNxHD 185X, 1080i50 with 2 channels of audio.

Re: DNxHF OP1a to OP-Atom
Unfortuantely i still cannot reproduce, using 1.2.1, your workflow and your source file.
For me your WF delivers 3 Files to the destination, one video and 2 audios.
I suggest you try with the latest Version and if it don't work it would be good to have the job logs.

Hello,
Same result here with FFAStrans 1.2.2.
1 video file and 2 audio files(with your file and from a ftp).

Yeah, how about that. Went from 1.2.1 to 1.2.2 and now it works as I hoped.
That was a weird time. Thanks for the reassurance!
