Replace special characters in filenames

I would love to see a way for FFAStrans to clean the filenames. It would be good to clean out anything besides letters and numbers in the English alphabet. We have some extra letters in Norway and they sometimes create problems.

It could be done according to a replacement table that we can add to ourselves.

I have thought about this problem for a while and good ways of manipulating strings but I have not settled for a good solution yet. But your table idea is not so bad and I'm gonna give it a serious thought. Thanks
