there is no function named "Setmtmode"

Post by coennie »

Hi There,

I just started to play with FFAStrans, when I try to use a AV media decoder and a resize after that, I get the error 'there is no function named "Setmtmode"'.

Does anyone know a solution for this?

What encoder did you use? It could be the issue connected to the encoder.
I meet the same message in case of resizing and compressing to MP4 (x264 mode). I had to change the compression format to MPEG4 to avoid bug.

Hi Kibi,

I've tried multiple input files (dv, mov, mp4) and then trying to create multiple mp4 files (x264). Also tried to change the x264 to MPEG4, but got the same result.

Please open your workflow setup in the "Special" tab and make sure the "Use multithreading in AviSynth" is unchecked.

Hi Steipal,

You are my hero. Unchecked the checkbox and it worked like a charm!

Great! :-)

I'm afraid this function is broken. It's removed from the upcoming 0.7.0 release.
