How can I get a proper log of what is going on during an FTP session? "Error writing file!" is not good enough to figure out what the problem is...
When clicking on the browse button, I get the correct folder on the ftp server and I can write to it.
FTP problems
Re: FTP problems
Hi Svein,
I'm sorry but the current version has no better logging in FTP than what you see. The upcoming 0.7.0 version will give you some better feedback regaring FTP issues. Can you please set up a dummy-workflow with FTP monitor to the same site and see if it's able to download files?

Re: FTP problems
Had to use a parallell folder as the original destination folder have a script attatched that will move the file to a new destination before the ftp monitor will be able to detect and download it.
But still no results. Seems like the ftp monitor does not detect anything. Don't know how that is related to the fact the the ftp delivery can not write the file...

Re: FTP problems
But are there readable files on the FTP server that FFAStrans should be able to download? Just trying to clarify if FFAStrans connects at all.

Re: FTP problems
Of course Like I said, I have a folder on the ftp server where I can test. And nothing happens when I drop a new file in it. Of course, as we have no idea what is going on, we do not know if this is a problem with the connection or anything else.
I can browse the folder but I am not able to upload to it. And If I use the FTP monitor, there is no indication that it actually monitors.

Re: FTP problems
I have discovered a few bugs with the FTP routines in FFAStrans. They are fixed in 0.7.0 and I would advice you to wait until it's out. Which hopefully is a matter of a few days.
Thanks for reporting!
