Sure enough we already thought about stuff like that, it will probably be implemented in the following way: the frontend creates a ffmpeg concat list and this is submitted as text into %s_source%. With a little luck, upcoming ffastrans releases could support such stuff natively but what you want to do first is to have a write text processor and dump the contents of %s_source% to a text file. After that it goes on clonky by instructing ffmpeg to process the concat list
But hey, it could be a start at least hehe

"Crappy player stuff" is just one of the most amazing features on your web browser!

Picture this, you have a class full of students learning Media Editing 101, with limited computers so far as processing and storage goes, so you want to educate them on the principles of "you shall not admit the full 20min UHD video from your smartphone if you'll only use 5min for edit"!

If done via the web browser just by roughly previewing the clips, and without providing direct access to the workflows, that would be perfect!
