Hello again vijm1972,

Just wantet to let you know that I have found the cause of the progressive/interlace-issue with XDCAM-HD and FCP7. The 0.6.3 update coming soon will include the fix.

FFAstrans 0.6.3 has resolved the issue. For my information can you please let me know what was the issue? Is it related to FFMPEG, FFAStarns?

Hi Steipal,

I have noticed that transcoding process took long time to complete the job. On previous version same file took around 1hour 30 mins, but on new version it's took more than 6 hours. This issue I have observed only on XDCAM HD 422 workflow, all other workflows which I have created are working perfectly.

Kindly suggest.

Thanks
Vijay

I'm unable to recreate the issue using several different source media and workflows, on the 0.6.2 and 0.6.3 version. They all show the same behaviour. Which is what I would expect because there is no real encoding difference between the two versions. Have you conducted the test with the exact same media without any other workflow encoding simultaneously, or any other kind of strain on your computer?
