Hello Admin-Team,
I'm observing two strange problems.
I setup a new farm using version 1.1.0.2.
Prior to that I exported all my workflows.
After importing all workflows into 1.1.0.2 most of my user variables are not present anymore.
Apart from that there is an other issue.
After creating new user variables within ffastrans on machine A the new user variables are not available within ffastrans on machine B.
To be more precisely: it doesn't matter on which machine the variables are created.
Result is always the same on the other machine.
To be much more precisely: this problem occurs only when ffastrans is running on both machines while creating user variables.
When creating user variables on machine A while ffastrans is NOT running on machine B the new user variables are present on machine B after ffastrans has been started there.
Best
Taner
EDIT: before using 1.1.0.2 I used the previous version.
I faced the same problem as described in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1147
I followed the workaround-instruction to solve the issue.
BUT: i exported all workflows out of this setup and imported them into 1.1.0.2.
Maybe I lost my user variables already in the previous version.
1.1.0.2 | Farm | New Variables
Re: 1.1.0.2 | Farm | New Variables
Hello Taner,
Ok, we will see how you install your farm. Can you tell us where you put your FFAStrans 1.1.0.2 folder? On NAS? on a workstation?
Here is how my production farm is installed :
1 NAS+2 Workstations
FFAStrans folder in on a NAS folder and each workstation has the rest-api service running.
In that way, I have only 1 FFAStrans installation and I can add other hosts if I want.
Anyway, I think you could have only 1 FFastrans folder to avoid any issue, so please tell us how you proceeded.
I tried to export a workflow from 1.0.0.5 to 1.1.0.2 and all my variables seem to be present,
Thanks.

Re: 1.1.0.2 | Farm | New Variables
Hi Taner,
Thank for pointing out the design flaw regarding missing variables updates on multiple hosts. It will be fixed for the next release.
What was your previous version?

Re: 1.1.0.2 | Farm | New Variables
Thanks.
@momocampo: ffastrans is located on NAS. no service running.
@Steinar: 1.1.0.1
