Re: Start TC in Encoder
Hi Wahyu,
What encoder are you trying, and can you try other encoders just to see if you get the same result?

Re: Start TC in Encoder
Hello Steinar,
I have tried other encoder (generic mpeg & H264), but the result is the sama. Video not start from TC.

Re: Start TC in Encoder
Ok, can you post a screenshot of the encoder setting? Also, which system do you use to determine if TC is correct?

Re: Start TC in Encoder
Hello Wahyu,
It seems to be ok.
Can we tell us how you check your TC on your final MP4 file please? Mediainfo? Avid?
B.

Re: Start TC in Encoder
Wahyu,
even if i am sure that you took care about not mixing up installation files, i still have a bad feeling because of the last time.
I tried to reproduce your issue using the latest download version but i had no luck, TC is there. Setting the TC is just as straight forward as you expect it to be.
This time instead of just sending you a workflow, i'll send you a full ffastrans dir, please check if you can reproduce the issue using this, it includes latest ffastrans and a workfow is pre-installed:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1VyR4sx ... sp=sharing
To check if the TC is there in mp4 you can e.g. just run "ffmpeg -i YOURSOURCEFILE", it will display the TC multiple times.

emcodem, wrapping since 2009 you got the rhyme?
Re: Start TC in Encoder
Hello Momocampo,
simple check, because the TC I entered is black video. I assume that if I start from the TC, the black will disappear and the video duration will decrease. but the result is the video duration remains the same as the input and the black is still visible.
Re: Start TC in Encoder
Oh, I think you misunderstand what start tc is. It's not a start in point from where the encoding will start. Start tc is just for setting the start TC metadata, and has nothing to do with modifying the length of the input file.

Re: Start TC in Encoder
aaahh I understand now, it looks like it's to fix TC. If I have a file with start tc 10: 00: 00: 00, I can fix it by setting "start tc" in the encoder. its that true?
