Simple version update procedure?

Hi all,

It may sound a little stupid, but is there a simple way to update your version without the hassle of re entering alle preferences and variables?

welcome to the forum and thank you for using FFAStrans!
Sure, upgrading usually does not require you to recreate anything. Basically you just extract the new files and place them into the existing directory, replacing all existing files and voila, settings are the same and you got an upgrade. Of course you should backup the whole ffastrans dir before you do that.
