Hi,
I am trying to implement a ftp download from a Avid Airspeed system (no standard ftp system).
It seems that I can only make it work by checking the 'localize file' option.
When trying, I get errors not being able to deliver the files.
I don't want to download all files, only from the same day, so I need conditional settings...
What is the difference between localize and other download? I can't get it...
Thanks,
Dries
Timeout ftp?
Re: Timeout ftp?
Hey dries,
well it's easy, "localize" means that ffastrans downloads the file into "job work dir" before actually starting the job and not localize means the file is not downloaded. In the second case you probably just want to send an email or e.g. use an external commandline program to download the file on your own.
You cannot download files "from the same day", but what you do instead is to click "History->rebuild history" in the monitor settings. From the moment this finishes, only "new files" will be downloaded.
