My current job is to to copy and transcode 10.000 dvds to hard disk, i find that the best way to do this is to copy the TS_VIDEO folder from the DVD to the hard disk, change the folder name from TS_VIDEO to the coded filename and then use ffmpeg to transcode and produce the single file that will be stored. If FFAstrans had the capacity to watch for newly created/renamed folders and delete those folders after processing as it does for single files, it would make my work a lot easier. Please consider adding this feature.
Thanks for creating such an amazing tool.
Best regards,
Hector.
Process Folders as it currently does files
Re: Process Folders as it currently does files
Hi Hector and thank you for using FFAStrans!
I think the best approach to your request is to make FFAStrans delete subfolder that holds the processed media. Thereby when setting your workflow to delete original file upon completion it will also delete the subfolder if it's empty. How does that sound to you?
