Is it possible to use the variables in the ACCEPT FILES and DENY FILES input boxes to conditionally accept/ignore specific folder names that files reside in?
For example:
Monitor - "F:\Root" for files to encode, DENY files in "F:\Root\Encoded"
Monitor - "F:\Root" for files to encode, ACCEPT files in "F:\Root\Source"
Furthermore, would it be possible to DENY ALL folders named "Encoded" and ACCEPT ALL folder named "Source?"
For example:
F:\Root\Project1\Source - this will be picked up by the monitor
F:\Root\Project1\Encoded - this will be ignored up by the monitor
F:\Root\Project2\Source - this will be picked up by the monitor
F:\Root\Project2\Subtask\Source - this will be picked up by the monitor
F:\Root\Project2\Subtask\Encoded - this will be ignored up by the monitor
Thanks!
ACCEPT and DENY rules by folder name?
Re: ACCEPT and DENY rules by folder name?
Hi jwietholter and thank you for using FFAStrans!
I'm afraid accepting and denying folders is currently not possible but it will be possible in a near future version. Either as a feature of the monitors or as a separate generic conditional processor node.

Thanks!
That's completely understandable. Just wanted to explore the options.
