Correct way to remove stuck jobs

Post by silicontrip »

Hi There,

I have a couple of jobs which got stuck, so I manually aborted them, using the abort job instance menu option. However the jobs sit there in "aborting job instance" status

This has happened in the past which I resolved by deleting the cache or working, cannot remember exactly which directory, but this also removed the job history.

What's the correct way to remove jobs that are stuck?

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,

Make sure no jobs are running and quit FFAStrans. Delete all files in "FFAStrans\Processors\.cache\monitor\jobs" and "FFAStrans\Processors\.cache\monitor\tickets". Start FFAStrans again.

Hi Mark,

after deleting the files from the folders that steinar provided in bold, please reboot the machine in order to make sure that no background process got stuck
