Crash and loss of workflows

Post by skhakhalov »

Hello Steinar,

I have some problems with FFAStrans 0.8.1.0 (shared mode from SMB share with full read/write access):

1) when I try to add new host into farm, FFAStrans crases with error:

"AutoIt Error

Line 54785 (File "...\FFAStrans.exe"):

Error: Subscript used on non-accessible variable"

After restart, this workflow just dissapear (there's empty one in workflow list). It happens only if it's more than one copy of FFAStrans started.

2) Sometimes after saving changes in workflow all parameter dissapear (I still can see all processors of this workflow, but all preferences are empty). After restart there's only empty workflow that can't be interacted with.

In both situations it's either no .ini file in \workflows, or this file can't be accessed.

Thank you for the great product!

Hi Sergey, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

Is this normal behavour or did it happen just once? And when you write "more than one copy of FFAStrans", do you mean on different hosts or multiple copies on the same host?

There might be some issues when there are multiple host focusing on the same workflow. I will investigate that.

Hello and sorry for long time I didn't answer,

I mean I use different hosts with one FFAStrans process on each.

It lost workflows almost every time I try to edit them. I tried to stop all but one FFAStrans processes and it works with existing ones, but I still get an error when I add hosts into farm.

In addition, once I lost one of my workflows about a day after editing and saving, but it was the only "delayed" lost and when I touch nothing, it works perfectly :)
