Hello,
If I understand well you question, you ask if you can start a watch folder with some files already in? Yes you can, you have to click on "rebuild history" inside monitor folder to avoid to process files already in.
Hope I understood well.

Cheers.

Hi rmap, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

I'm planning another persistant option that lets you skip current files every time the workflow is started. But for now follow Banjamins reply.

Yes it can be useful Steinar, without, we have to delete files under 1 month (maximum cache).
I never tried but I think the files inside cache will be process, isn't it?

Hi megam, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum! :-)

How is it not working for you? Can you be a little more specific?

there is a folder TestIn I copy there 2 video.mxf FFAStrans transcodes these 2 files into the required format .mp4 in the TestOut folder everything is OK. When I delete 1 file from the TestOut folder and click Rebuild History, then FFAStrans does not encode this file again. If I do something wrong, please tell me

Hey megam,
so 1 *.mxf file that has already been processed stays in the watchfolder - then you click rebuild history. And you would expect the 1 mxf file to be processed again, correct?

Ah, that's easy then, "rebuild history" does exactly the opposite from what you expect: it checks for all files in the folder and marks them as alraedy processed. I think what you want is to also check the "forget missing files" option.

Let me know if there are any more questions left!
