Sony XDCAM HD 59.94i cannot put clip on xdcam disk

HI,

i transcoded a clip to SONY XDCAm hd 59.94i but cannot put the file on disk.
Seem to not have the right format. i've tried all configurations without success.
Version 0.9.4

Any clues...

Hi brassag, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum!

Well, I'm not surprised. It's Sony... You can try the BMX MFX wrapper and see if that helps.

Haha, ffmpeg and Sony XDCAM was never a good match Using the BMX wrapper definitely works.

This topic is open since years now... i wonder if i should take care of this at one day myself but to be honest, i think as long as nobody pays me for it i'll probably not change ffmpeg in a way only commercial companies profit from That is probably the reason why this is not already solved in ffmpeg.
