I have just one question about the new release 0.9.4. I tried different thing and I'm sorry but I don't understand what is this new feature "move source instead copy".
Isn't for move the source file to the destination folder (same name as destination file = bad)
Maybe it is the temporary file created (in workflow folder) which move after creation instead if copying so useful for large files only(but why call that "source"??)
Anyway, if you can explain please I'm sure this is useful somewhere
Thank you very much.
As you wrote, the "move" instead of copy is particulary handy where you have the work folders and the destination on the same share, f.ex. a NAS or similar. So when you have created your 5 hour AVC-Intra file the delivery will be instant instead of...well, you get the idea
Also, remember that in FFAStrans terms the "source" is ALWAYS the file(s) delivered to a node from the previous node. So the source from a "Folder"-monitor delivered to an "AVC-Intra"-encoder will be different from the source delivered from the encoder to the next node.
