In general, don't think this workflow is very uncommon. Would be nice if there would be more standard support for this in the future.

The wanted behaviour: - I put filexyz.mov in the watchfolder and it gets transcoded - shortly after that I modify the file (e.g. new version, updated duration) and copy it to the watchfolder again, resulting in the same filename, with different timestamp - ffastrans detects that the file has changed...

FFAStrans starts fine using Wine but can't be used to configure a processor. When pressing the bar of a processor the processor details window keeps moving when moving the mouse. As a result I can never click on a field inside the popup to change the values. I can only press Esc to dismiss the popup...

That was it! Windows Defender had marked it as "Trojan:Win32/Detplock". I don't have another antivirus.

Can the scripts read / set variables?
This so can check in the script if %s_filename%.wav exists (as opposed to a hardcoded <full path to file> )

There's no exe_manager.exe running when I start the workflow.
There is a def_runner.exe that starts when I start the workflow.
