Thank you for the detailed reply, in this case it was just an ordinary AVID workflow where we now go through the AVID std procedure of "ama" linking and then consolidating it onto a NEXIS. The thing is that AVID will handle most footage natively as long as it's in it's own MXF files. I don...

The linked paths in an aaf file contain an absolute path including drive letter/servername and folders. I can see that FFMPEG supports DNxHR but as i understand it, the unique MXF ATOM option with project names etc that FFA provides is done via 3rd party tools. Is it possible to create a Custom FFMPEG workflow with the 3rd party tools?
Or even better, will there be DNxHR support?

And always remember to right click and save the workflow or nothing works. I spend several days before i found that obvious but weird problem.

Saving the Workflow was the problem.. as soon as i saved the Workflow it worked.. wow!

Interesting, when i drop the files directly on the encoder i can see that the folder .ffastrans_work_root gets populated and the encoding happens, the files gets created, but they never get copied to the destination folder, after the encoding the files gets deleted.
