Re: 8 audio channels

Hi gents,

it is possible to do the same with standard FFAStrans processors or do I just need to use Custom ffmpeg processor?

Cheers,

Re: Live Streaming

Hi steipal,

si you already solve this problem with "Custom FFmpeg" processor (options before -i input) or the only way is still "Command executor"?

Many thanks,

Re: Webinterface

Hi emcodem, perfect thank you. The :30 timezone is a pain in the arse..... Cool, I'll keep checking new releases then 8-) All 100 jobs are actually posted in very short of time (one by one :D). I tested it and it looks that around 200 sent jobs the :3003 is showing empty tickets in :3003. Many thank...

Re: Webinterface

OK i remember that particular piece of code very well... i was thinking: "do i need to make the effort and support timezones with half hours - nahhh how big is the chance that a ffastrans user lives in such a timezone". Looks like i was wrong hehe, i should have looked up timezones so i s...

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hi @emcodem,

thank you much for exhaustive answer. I like the part GHz rules 👍

I’ll also try to play with built in ffmpeg cmd to replace a/v media.

Thank you!

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hi @emcodem, yeah, I think I made a mistake in the tests . Just for sure I ran the transcoding several more times and here is the result: filters: - Indexing (20s) - SSD looks to be a bottleneck - A/V Media (183s) - Deinterlace (25s) - Timecode (2s) - FPS (3s) - H.264 (791s/0.17x) - not sure w...

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hi @emcodem :) exactly, I'm trying to avoid any bottleneck in the setup. I already run some tests with GPU, and decided to use only CPU, not only because of the quality, but the transcoding speed to X264 was basically very similar. I can imagine running jobs in parallel (let's say 2 or 3 if possible...

Re: FFAStrans hardware configuration

Hi everyone, I’m struggling with new ffastrans machine setup and would like to get feedback from you. Most of the transcoding will be done from xdcam to h.264 with a/v media and filter processors (timecode, watermark, change fps). Source and destination clips will be on network storage. I’m thinking...
