nothing happens? basic workflow (folder-mp4-folder)

New to FFAStrans.
Watched the intro YouTube video.
Using Windows 10 and FFAStrans 0.7.7.

Steps:
- new workflow: "test"
- added processors:
. - monitor - folder: "...\in"
. - encoder - MP4
. - deliveries - folder: "...\out"
- saved workflow
- started workflow
- show status monitor
- pasted a H264 (or MXF) file from local filesystem into "in" folder

I tried a couple of other workflows (including decoder A/V Media), but in all cases I don't see anything happening.
Suggestions?

Hi wvku, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum!

There should not be more to it than what you have already done. Can you please check and see if the "exe_manager.exe" process is running when you start the workflow?

Hi Steinar, thanks for the tool!
There's no exe_manager.exe running when I start the workflow.
There is a def_runner.exe that starts when I start the workflow.

Ok, please check if your antivirus has put it in quaranteen. There has been reports of that happening. If it has, please get the file from the main 0.7.7 package and place it in the "Processors" folder. FFAStrans wont work without it.

That was it! Windows Defender had marked it as "Trojan:Win32/Detplock". I don't have another antivirus.
I have put the file back, it now works fine. Thanks so much.

Hi,

I have the exact same workflow set up and can't get it to execute. I checked the task manager and both processes are running. When I try to manually submit a file, I receive a line 33391 error. I tried running the same workflow on a different computer and received the same error. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I am very new to FFAStrans!

I'm very sorry you're having problems with FFAStrans and I would be happy to help you out. Could you please export your workflow and send it? Also I would like for you to find out what program gives the 33391 error. FFAStrans has several sub-programs.

Eh, sort of. The error tells me a lot but your workflow is empty. Are you sure you sent the right one?

I likely didn't send you the right one. I'm guessing I should have sent you the contents of the ini file in the workflows folder. Here it is:

I have noticed that my workflow actually isn't saved when I exit and relaunch FFAStrands. Even after importing, my workflow view is blank. Could this be the culprit?
