Maybe, you are using some packer for exe, or code obfuscator? After last av-bases update, this crazy software kill process and delete file.

I'm getting the same alert from McAfee OAS which is preventing me from installing the 0.8.2.2 patch. Is there a place to download older versions before this was implemented?

This is a constant problem with AVs. Can you please try and exclude the FFAStrans files from beeing checked?
