Loadness analyses on 0.9.3

Post by pandadnap »

Hi steinar,

Thanks for your hard work and keep updating the software!
I am having issue on loudness analyses on0.9.3. It simply just not able to generate loudness value. I tried to export the loudness variable to a txt file. The txt containing [] only. I ran the same workflow on 0.9.2.1 and it works fine, with value inside the bracket [].
Attached my test workflow for your reference.

thanks,
Panda

Hi steinar,

thanks for quick fix.
Unfortunately, there are discrepancy between the values generated by 0.9.3.1 and 0.9.2.1. The values generated by 0.9.2.1 looks more reasonable to me.
Attached is the values read from 2 version using the same source file.

thanks,
Panda

Are you sure your 0.9.3 settings is not set to "All combined"? Cause that's what you get if it is; the same result on all channels. I just tried both versions and both show the same result on the same file with the same settings.

Ah...let me try. Hopefully it's just wrong setting from my side!
Thank you, Steinar!

Hi Steinar,

Is the loudness analyser broken again? I'm on version 0.9.3.55 and still getting an empty string when using the node :-(

Hm, that's strange. The latest "processors.exe" is 0.9.3.44. Can you please confim you have the updated version? It's seem to be working as it should in my tests.
