Hi,
I have Apple prores (.mov file) that is in 24fps and in 5.1 surround with 6 channels mapped as L, R, C, LFE, Ls, Rs.
I need to deliver this file in 25fps MXF XDCAM HD format and with stereo on track 7 and 8. At the moment this stereo does not exist since the file is in 5.1 so i was wondering can i let FFAStrans create stereo on channel 7 and 8 from the 5.1 mix while exporting?
And i need the framerate to be 25fps, should i use some frame blending mode or is some feature there that actually speed the file up from 24fps to 25fps and correct the pitch back?
24fps -> 25fps and create more channels
Re: 24fps -> 25fps and create more channels
Hi gunnar, thank you for using FFAStrans and welcome to the forum!
Yes, you can do this with FFAStrans. Please import the attached workflow. This will create XDCAM-HD file with the original first 6 channels and the mixdown on 7+8. The encoder itself will take care of the 24->25 fps conversion. The workflow has not monitor or delivery node so you need to connect those yourself.

Thank you so much!
Sorry for all the questions but i am new to the software and still learning.
What would i add to this if i want the file to be -23 lufs?
I saw there is some loudness node there but i was not quite sure on how to set it to be -23 lufs
