Autolt v3 stop Windows 10 from shutting down.
Fantastic piece of software.
I have been testing it out and it appears I have found a bug.
When shutting down windows I get this error box.

Thanks!
Ok, so the error itself can be ignored; we don't care if the application closes correctly or not when shutting down.
As we come up with a new release very soon and the error seems to be kind of related to your environment, i suggest a workaround: You know .reg files? ..after downloading, rename this file from .txt to .reg and just double click it; it OK then.
I hope this will surpress the corresponding error message and you can shut down without this annoying error message.

Hello emcodem,
I have applied the registry file. And as you can you downloaded three times just to make sure. Unfortunately continues to happen.
however this time the behaviourism to be different:
Whereas before, windows would not shutdown. This time windows is shutting down the error message is still showing.
Thank you

OK, we need a little help from you and find out if the "name of the executeable" that is preventing the shutdown is "exe_manager.exe" or different.
Are you able to check the windows application log, as described here?
(Method 3: Using Event Viewer to find the process responsible for the warning message):
https://appuals.com/fix-this-app-is-pre ... -shutdown/
Hopefully you are able to find out the real name of the .exe that is preventing the shutdown and tell us here...

Hello,
Thank you for the link. I have tried what you suggested. This is the message I have.
I also added the registry edit which is stated in the article. And I am testing it out.
I have this message:
